Meet Cider Maker Andrew Boyd and his wife Karen at their farmhouse small garden orchard overlooking Dundrum Bay in County Down. Stroll through the bountiful garden orchard over a stream to the Cidery to learn how Kilmegan Irish Cider uses traditional production techniques to press and ferment their ciders. Hear about Andrew’s personal journey from novice to award winning producer and his ethos of how real cider is made. Relax in the tasting lounge for a tutored cider and apple juice tasting accompanied with delicious snacks of homemade wheaten bread, cheese, local ham and chutneys.
Inclusions
This experience includes 3 x 100ml servings of each cider, 1 x 125ml bottle of sparkling apple juice and a snack of freshly baked homemade wheaten bread, and locally sourced cheese, ham, and chutneys.
